Paper Submission

To encourage timely reporting of the latest results and have better opportunities to expand papers for possible journal publications, prospective authors are invited to submit a 3-page manuscript (both initial submission and final manuscript, if accepted) in English and in IEEE PDF eXpress format. The manuscript should emphasize original contributions and key findings, including figures, diagrams and results from both simulations and measurements. References should be clearly cited and up-to-date. If accepted, the manuscript will be submitted to IEEE Xplore. By submitting a manuscript, the authors promise that, if accepted, at least one of them will attend RFIT2018 with full registration.



Paper Submission Information:

  • Authors must use the template provided to format their manuscript. The manuscript may not exceed 3 pages total must be converted to PDF format before upload. The file size must be less than 2 MB. For PDF files, use Distiller and select “embed all fonts”. Please note that we are not accepting *.doc files.

  • Submissions will be acknowledged instantly.

    • HARD copy and FAX submissions will NOT be accepted.
    • Late submissions will NOT be considered.


  • Authors of accepted papers will be required to submit a camera-ready final paper, along with a clear die photo of the work described in the manuscript, if applicable.

  • During the submission process, authors of regular papers should select a track from the following 1 to 10. They have also to choose a paper presentation type: oral or poster. Only invited authors should submit their paper to Invited Papers Track and choose oral presentation type. :

Paper Selection Criteria:

All submissions must be in English. Papers will be selected based on the following factors:

  • Originality: The paper must be unique, significant, and state-of-the-art. Are references to existing literature included?

  • Quantitative content: The 3-page paper should give an explicit description of the work with supporting data.

  • Quality: Clarity of the writing and figures. What is the context of the contribution to previous work?

  • Interest to RFIT attendees: Why should this work be reported at this conference?


Authors will be notified of acceptance on May 14, 2018. Authors of accepted papers will receive copyright release forms and instructions for publication and presentation. Final manuscripts for publication in the RFIT digest must be received by Jun 14, 2018.

No Double Submission:

Authors who do not properly cite their previous work, or who submit an RFIT manuscript to two or more publications without informing the editor that the paper is concurrently under review by another publication will be reported to IEEE and may be banned from future publications.

Participation and Presentation:
